All that recruiting momentum LSU had in the spring and summer had come to a halt during the season -- until now.
The Tigers have received a commitment from defensive lineman Cassius Marsh of Oaks Christian High in Westlake Village, Calif., taking their number of commitments for the 2010 class to 23.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Marsh was rated as the No. 34 defensive tackle prospect in the country by Scouts Inc. He originally made a commitment to California and also considered USC, Arizona State and Oklahoma.
His visit to LSU for the Florida game is what sold him on the Tigers, who were ranked No. 6 in ESPN.com's latest recruiting rankings.
